Special Projects

Special projects, such as packing blizzard bags or holiday boxes, occur at specific times of the year and are always lots of fun.  We can create custom kit assembly projects or other activities for your group based on our current needs and available funding. Please contact Luna Collins at lcollins@coalcreekmow.org for more information.

Can Children Volunteer?

We are often asked if children can participate in volunteer work. Due to the nature of the work, most opportunities require adults. However, children and teens can often volunteer with an adult. For instance, although Delivery Drivers must be 21, parents and grandparents who deliver meals are welcome to bring their kids or grandkids, regardless of age.

Children and their families often get involved by making cards or holiday favors for clients. Please click here to learn about Guidelines for Decorating Bags and Cards.
